Phil Leary, AICP, Joins CBC Saunders Real Estate

       Welcome to Phil Leary, AICP, to CBC Saunders Real Estate as a Licensed Real Estate Associate.
        Phil comes to the company with thirty years of experience in public policy, planning, education, environmental, health care, and working for local and state governments and the private sector. He remains president of Leary Governmental Affairs Consultants, Inc., where he represents public and private sector clients on legislative, policy, environmental permitting, agriculture, planning/zoning and land use issues at local, state, and federal government levels.
Formerly he was Director of Government and Community Affairs for the Florida Farm Bureau Federation and was Planning and Development Director for Clay County and Putnam County, as well as St. Johns River Water Management District.
Phil obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environmental Economics, with Certificate Minor in Environmental Studies from the University of Florida. He completed post graduate work in public administration, policy, and planning at the University of North Florida. He resides in Palatka, FL
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), Florida and American Planning Associations, Florida and American Farm Bureau Federations, Florida Forestry Association, University of Florida Alumni Association, Florida Association of Professional Lobbyists, and the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.

Sold: Florida Lions Foundation Tiger Lake Camp in Lake Wales, Sells for $1.515 Mil

Coldwell Banker Commercial Saunders Real Estate (CBCSRE) in Lakeland, FL, announces the recent sale of the Florida Lions Foundation for the Blind Tiger Lake Camp located in Lake Wales, Florida and is 47.64 +/- Acres. The Florida Lions Foundation for the Blind, Inc. is a Florida not-for-profit organization.
The property sale was managed by sales associates David Hitchcock, ALC and Clay Taylor, ALC of Coldwell Banker Commercial Saunders Real Estate and Greg Smith of Coldwell Banker Commercial Saunders Ralston Dantzler Realty.

Welcome Benjamin Gibson to CBC Saunders Real Estate

          Ben Gibson has recently joined Coldwell Banker Commercial Saunders Real Estate in Lakeland, FL. He is a Licensed Real Estate Associate and REALTOR, originally from Wauchula. With strong family ties to Lakeland, his grandfather, Horace Gibson, was a past mayor of Lakeland and also owned the Royal Crown Bottling plant. Bob Gibson, Ben's father, grew up in Lakeland and was a past director of field representatives for Florida Citrus Mutual. 
        Being a 5th generation Floridian, Ben’s comes from a family that has a long history supporting Florida agriculture. His great grandfather, both grandfathers, and father were all citrus growers.  
He is a long-time licensed real estate associate since 1995 and a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser No. 1740 since 1993, he has over 26 years of experience in appraising agricultural properties. Ben’s real estate specialties include farmland, ranches, citrus groves, packinghouses, and various specialty operations, such as blueberries and dairies.
Ben obtained a BS degree in Fruit Crops (citrus) from the University of Florida and for years he worked as an assistant vice president with Farm Credit of Florida. Responsibilities included originating new loans, special asset management (problem loans) and appraisals. During his appraisal career, he completed appraisals on a wide variety of land types, such as ranches, professional offices, residential developments, citrus groves, warehouses, irrigated farmland, industrial buildings, conservation easements, packinghouses, and phosphate mining operations.
Ben is active on the Citrus Advisory Board of the Florida Cooperative Extension Service for Hardee, DeSoto, Manatee, and Sarasota Counties. He is a member of the Florida Farm Bureau, the Florida Association of REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS®, and the Heartland Association of REALTORS®.

Official Ribbon Cutting Ushers in New Commercial Real Estate Firm in Polk County: CBC Saunders Ralston Dantzler Realty

The official ribbon cutting event was recently held in Lakeland, FL for the newly-formed commercial real estate firm, Coldwell Banker Commercial Saunders Ralston Dantzler, LLC.
Conducted by the Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce officials, the ribbon cutting is the event that welcomes new businesses into the Chamber membership and into the area’s business community. Attending were Chamber board members, Chamber executive staff, as well as Lakeland’s Mayor, Gow Fields, who did the cutting honors.
