Sold: 2,156 +/- Acre Hendry County Grove Closes for $16.925 Mil by CBC Saunders Real Estate


Coldwell Banker Commercial Saunders Real Estate (CBCSRE) in Lakeland, FL, announces the recent closing of 2,156 +/- acres located east of LaBelle in Hendry County Florida for $16,925,000. The CBCSRE licensed real estate broker associate who handled the deal was Brian Beasley, CCA, CNLM. 
The Seminole Grove property is a high-producing citrus grove originally developed in 1997 using up-to-date agricultural engineering. The citrus trees in the grove are Florida Department of Agriculture, Division of Plant Industry Registered/ Certified Scions and Rootstocks selected for their high productivity and disease resistance. Varieties include Early Mids and Valencias. The sale included a two-year transferable fruit contract. 
The new owners of the grove will continue citrus production.

Sold: 230 +/- Citrus Grove Acres Sold in Polk County for a Combined $2MIL by CBC Saunders Real Estate

Dean Saunders, ALC, CCIM, land broker and owner of Coldwell Banker Commercial Saunders Real Estate in Lakeland, FL, announces two recent transactions for citrus groves sold in Polk County for a combined $2,015,000 .
The 163-acre Dundee, Florida grove was sold for $1,475,000. The seller was represented by Brian Beasley, CCA, CNLM and Dean Saunders, ALC, CCIM.
A 67-acre grove located in Lake Wales, Florida was sold for $540,000. The buyer was represented by James F. Clements, ALC and the seller was represented by Richard Dempsey, ALC.
“Demand for citrus groves remains strong. The citrus industry continues to face adversity from a variety of sources, however fruit prices have increased over the past several seasons, and the expectation is that they will remain at or above current levels for some time. As a result, good-producing groves are commanding premium prices,” states Dempsey.

Sold: Davenport Grove 25 Producing Acres - Davenport, FL

Recently sold is this good-quality grove that is surrounded by new development. The tract is entitled for 3 dwelling units per acre with utilities to the site, as well as remaining as a producing citrus grove. Varities grown are Hamlins, Vlencias, and Ambersweets.

A producing citrus grove in South Polk County recently sold. Approximately 61 acres near Ft. Meade was on the market for only seven months.
