Full-time, in-house position available at busy south Lakeland land/commercial real estate broker office for experienced real estate researcher. The ideal candidate will have past experience as a title searcher and/or experience with assisting in appraisal research.
Candidate must:
- Be detailed, complete, and accurate in their research
- Be flexible and able to switch to new priorities quickly when needed
- Have skill with spreadsheets, numbers, calculations, and comparisons of information
- Possess the ability to read real estate legal documents and understand what is represented
- Be technically savvy by understanding and being able to efficiently use online GIS applications, as well as online official database resources
- Have knowledge of basic real estate terms, as well as real estate legal and transaction document types
- Possess basic knowledge of the real estate sales transaction process and steps
- Be proficient with Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and PDFs
- General knowledge of real estate as it pertains to the State of Florida
- Knowledge of Florida counties and where they are located
- Knowledge of Florida's legislative conservation areas
- Experience with researching commercial and land properties
