Real Estate Researcher Position Available

Full-time, in-house position available at busy south Lakeland land/commercial real estate broker office for experienced real estate researcher. The ideal candidate will have past experience as a title searcher and/or experience with assisting in appraisal research.

Candidate must:

• Be detailed, complete, and accurate in their research
• Be flexible and able to switch to new priorities quickly when needed
• Have skill with spreadsheets, numbers, calculations, and comparisons of information
• Possess the ability to read real estate legal documents and understand what is represented
• Be technically savvy by understanding and being able to efficiently use online GIS applications, as well as online official database resources
• Have knowledge of basic real estate terms, as well as real estate legal and transaction document types
• Possess basic knowledge of the real estate sales transaction process and steps
• Be proficient with Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and PDFs

It is a plus if candidate possesses:

• General knowledge of real estate as it pertains to the State of Florida
• Knowledge of Florida counties and where they are located
• Knowledge of Florida's legislative conservation areas
• Experience with researching commercial and land properties
